Me entero por Discapnet de la actualización de las prestaciones para las personas en situación de depencia y de sus cuidadores. La norma podeís encontrarla aquí.
Como siempre, me quejo de que con tanta norma y administración, nunca queda claro a qué tenemos derecho. ¿Para cuándo una ventanilla única para que las personas con capacidades distintas de las normales y sus allegados podamos informarnos y realizar cualquier trámite?

No os perdáis la noticia completa en “La Opinión de Málaga”.
En resumen, una familia con un hijo con parálisis cerebral. Conforme pasan los años, la madre se va haciendo mayor y ella misma no sólo no puede ayudar a su hijo, sino que ella misma necesita ayuda. Piden las ayudas de la Ley de Dependencia y le otorgan a la madre las prestaciones como persona cuidadora de su hijo, pero en cambio le quitan otras ayudas que hasta ahora recibían.
Por favor, gobierne quien gobierne tras las próximas elecciones, no más leyes de ayuda a las personas con situación de dependencia: sencillamente, que se cumplan las que existen.
Pero, claro, es más barato (y publicitario) cambiar una ley o hacer una nueva que dotar a las que existen de los recursos económicos que se necesitan.

Carlos Rosa, profesor de Urbanística III de la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Málaga ha llevado a cabo una curiosa práctica ensu asignatura. Durante la misma, sus alumnos se han enfrentado a la ciudad desde una silla de ruedas, con muletas o con los ojos tapados como los invidentes, experimentando las limitaciones que sufren los discapacitados y personas de movilidad reducida por motivos arquitectónicos.
Los problemas detectados han sido de tres tipos:
- Arquitectónicos: Bordillos sin vados, aceras demasiado estrechas, escaleras sin rampas, sin protecciones o con rampas excesivamente inclinadas.
- De conservación: Pavimento irregular o en mal estado.
- De accesibilidad: mobiliario urbano en mitad de la calle, comercios y locales públicos con accesos sin adaptar, pasos de peatones sin avisador acústico, coches aparcados sobre la acera.
Los futuros arquitectos han fotografiado todas las barreras, espero que para poder diseñar en el futuro una ciudad sin trabas, para todos.

Me entero aquí que el Ayuntamiento de Málaga va a subvencionar 20 taxis para que se adapten para el transporte de discapacitados y personas con problemas de movilidad. La subvención es de 12.200 € por vehículo, que, según mi experiencia, es justito pero basta para el coste de la adaptación.
No cabe duda de que es un buen paso en la dirección correcta, pero siguen faltando muchos otros: bordillos accesibles, mayor facilidad para obtener subvenciones por parte de la Junta para instalar salvaescaleras en domicilios particulares, obligatoriedad de subescaleras en locales comerciales y sitios públicos, empezando por la propia Administración… y que cumplan la normativa para que no se den casos como el narrado por Ricardo Gómez en “Sobre Ruedas”.

Según me acabo de enterar, el Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido podrá ser visitado por personas de movilidad reducida.
Cuentan con 4 sillas todoterreno, disponibles de forma gratuita previa reserva, para visitar más del 60% de los senderos. Por el momento, la persona con problemas de movilidad debe ir acompañada, pero parece que buscan voluntarios para prestar ayuda a las personas que viajen solas en un próximo futuro.
Además, parece que el Gobierno de Aragón subvencionará a los establecimientos turísticos de la zona para eliminar barreras arquitectónicas o colocar subeescaleras en los negocios.
